Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many people are in receipt of child benefit and for how many children.

As at 31st August 2017, the total number of families in receipt of Child Benefit in the United Kingdom was 7,376,965 and the total number of children for whom Child Benefit is received was 12,847,100.
