Tree Planting: Schools

Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what proportion of schools in (a) Barnsley and (b) South Yorkshire have received a portion of the money invested in the Trees for Schools Programme.

Over the lifetime of the Trees for Schools programme, tree packs have been provided to 16 schools in South Yorkshire, four of them in Barnsley. This equates to 2,640 trees in South Yorkshire, 900 of them in Barnsley.
