Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, whether he plans to renew the Compact between the Government and the voluntary sector.

The Compact continues to be an important guide for effective engagement and collaboration between public bodies and voluntary, charitable and social enterprise sector organisations. The Government's Civil Society Strategy, due to be published later this year, will consider practical ways of improving engagement and partnerships across traditional sector boundaries.
