Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if his Department will make an assessment of the potential merits of expanding the range of individual sports included in the GCSE PE activity list.
This question was answered on 6th July 2018
The Government will review the activity list for GCSE and A and AS level physical education in autumn 2018. This will include an assessment of the potential merits of expanding the range of individual sports included in the activity list. The Department will agree this process with the exam boards and Ofqual and announce details closer to the time.
