Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether he has made a recent assessment of trends in the number of bus routes in (a) Coventry and (b) Coventry South constituency; and if he will make a statement.

Bus operators must register their services with a traffic commissioner in the traffic area in which the service operates. The table below shows the number of live local bus registrations in the West Midlands Traffic Area as at 31 March of each year. There have been more local bus registrations in 2017, than there were in 2011.
