The Government of South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands is undertaking the first 5 year review of the South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands Marine Protected Area. A review panel, comprising scientists, industry and environmental organisation representatives and independent members, are preparing a report, which will include advice and recommendations, which the Government of South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands expects to receive in final form by mid/late August.
