To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many people have been waiting for more than (a) three, (b) four, (c) five and (d) six months from the time they applied for personal independence payment to the time they (i) were offered an assessment appointment and (ii) received a decision as of 25 April 2022; and what the average time that people are waiting is to (A) be offered an assessment appointment and (B) receive a decision.
With respect to parts (i), (ii) and (A) of your question, the information requested is not readily available and to provide it would incur disproportionate cost.
With respect to part (B) of your question, data on processing times for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Normal Rules New Claims to January 2022 (the latest available data) is published in Table 1A of the PIP Statistics tables which can be found here:
