Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether the adoption support fund can be used for the treatment of foetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
This question was answered on 6th July 2018
The Department for Education through the Adoption Support Fund has made funding available to local authorities to support adopted children with a range of specialist assessments and therapy to treat a variety of conditions. This includes Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
