Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what support his Department has provided to Havering local authority for the repair and maintenance of local highways.

Responsibility for managing London’s road network is shared between Transport for London, Highways England and the London Boroughs. Local roads are managed by London Boroughs. It is therefore for the London Borough of Havering to assess its road maintenance requirements alongside other priorities in the borough.
