Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the average age has been of merchant ships using UK ports in each year since 2010 up to the most recent year for which figures are available; and if he will make a statement.

The table gives the average age of trading vessels that arrived at UK ports in each year from 2010 to 2016.
