Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the answer of 15 June 2026 to Question 6815, on Chris Gibb, for what reason was the appointment of Mr Gibb terminated by Sir Andrew Haines.

Chris Gibb was dismissed as a non-executive director of DfT Operator Limited after breaching his contract. This led the Chair to lose trust and confidence in his ability to carry out the duties of a non-executive director.
