Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what is the expected date of the publication of the Defence Finance and Investment Strategy (DFIS).

The Ministry of Defence intends to publish the Defence Finance and Investment Strategy in Autumn 2026. This timetable allows sufficient time following publication of the Defence Investment Plan to engage the sector and ensure the Strategy builds on the Plan by translating Defence’s long-term demand signal into a proposition for investors, industry, public financial institutions and allies.
