The Government is working with a wide range of stakeholders across all sectors, including those who are users, or potential users, of the customs system, and will continue to do so in order to prepare them for the future. In this area we will build on our strong track record to ensure that all businesses have the necessary support, education, and guidance in place to be ready for future trade with the EU.

The precise nature of any new customs arrangement will be determined in negotiations with the EU.
