Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 4 June 2018 to Question 147325, how his Department plans to apply its developing understanding of the implications of modern methods of construction for Building Regulations’ requirements in any future review of those regulations; and if he will make a statement.

The Department is considering its research plans on matters covered by building regulations, in the light of the recommendations of the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety by Dame Judith Hackitt.
