Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many psychiatry doctors were employed by the NHS in England at each grade in each year since 2009.

NHS Digital publishes Hospital and Community Health Services (HCHS) workforce statistics.

The attached table shows the number of HCHS psychiatry doctors working in National Health Service trusts and clinical commissioning groups in England, by grade, as at 30 September for each year and latest data available, full time equivalent.
