Question to the Northern Ireland Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, whether he has made representations to cabinet colleagues about the potential merits of inviting Ireland to be an associate member of the G20 when the UK assumes the Chair in January 2027.

Planning for the UK’s G20 Presidency in 2027 is underway, and decisions on guest attendance have not yet been taken.
