The strategy is focused on the prevention, treatment, and management of the six major conditions groups (including dementia) that have the greatest impact on premature mortality and reduced healthy life expectancy in England. However, many of the solutions identified will be applicable beyond just these six major condition groups.

We are engaging across Government and with wider stakeholders representing neurological conditions to ensure their views are considered in the development of the strategy. We have also engaged with individuals with lived experience of neurological conditions to support the development of the final strategy.
