Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the timeframe is for the start of the Northern Hub related Hope Valley line improvement scheme.
This question was answered on 19th July 2018
Network Rail have completed the single option design for the railway infrastructure scheme proposed in the Hope Valley and are actively working on plans to progress the work. The current funding envelope for enhancements made provision for this scheme to be delivered in the period between 2019-2024. The timetable for further work on this scheme will be announced in due course.
