Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent discussions he has had with (a) the Mayor of London and (b) Deputy Mayor for Transport on the construction of Crossrail 2.

The Secretary of State and other ministers have regular discussions with stakeholders, including the Mayor of London and Deputy Mayor for Transport, about the development of proposals for Crossrail 2. The current priority for the project is to improve its affordability, through the Independent Affordability Review.
