Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what discussions he has had with (a) political parties and (b) civil society in Northern Ireland on (i) repealing and (ii) amending sections 58 and 59 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.

There have been no such discussions held by the Home Office. Therefore I refer the Hon. Member to the response given by the Northern Ireland Office, UIN 155724 on the 27th June 2018.
