Question to the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology:

To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, what discussions her Department has had with the Department for Health and Social Care on that Department's consultation on the Statutory Scheme to Control Costs for Branded Medicines.

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has been in close discussions with the Department of Health and Social Care about the impact of medicines pricing on investment and innovation.

These impacts were considered as part of the consultation process to update the Statutory Scheme for branded medicines pricing.
