To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, with reference to the Answer of 16 March 2023 to Question 162170 on Manufacturing Industries: Supply Chains, whether she had discussions with the Chancellor ahead of the Spring Budget 2023 on funding for the manufacturing sector.

My Rt. Hon Friend the Secretary of State for Business and Trade has frequent discussions with the Chancellor of the Exchequer about how to secure the best outcomes for the UK economy, including sectors such as manufacturing and its key sub-sectors like aerospace, automotive and life sciences.
