Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether his Department plans to transpose (a) Directive 2016/1065/EU on VAT treatment of vouchers and (b) Directive 2017/2455/EU on VAT on electronic commerce whose transposition date expires by the end of this year.

The Government plans to transpose the relevant parts of both Directives by the end of this year.
