Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the cost to the public purse was for policing the summer visit of the US President.

Total policing costs have yet to be finalised. We are working with the police forces directly involved in policing the President’s visit and will consider any applications for Special Grant funding carefully.
