Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether he plans to undertake a review of the regulations on the use of electric scooters on roads.

The Department for Transport is currently gathering evidence on the development of new approaches to mobility, such as electric scooters, as part of the Future of Mobility Grand Challenge. This evidence will inform how the Department defines the scope of the regulatory review announced in the Industrial Strategy.
