Advice on the management of foxes is available on GOV.UK and from Natural England.

There is no statutory duty on local authorities, or anyone else, to control foxes in their areas. The Government’s policy is that landowners and individuals are free to manage wildlife within the law; this includes local authorities. The decision on whether or not to control foxes lies with the owner or occupier of the property where the problem occurs.
