Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether he has made an assessment of the (a) demographic and (b) socio-economic characteristics of people who will be affected by the policy decision to implement additional conditionality for Universal Credit claimants that are lead carers of young children.

The Department has completed an Equality Analysis which assesses the impact on protected characteristics of the change to the additional conditionality for Universal Credit claimants that are lead carers of young children.
