Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many (a) applications and (b) decisions for standard visitors visas were made in each of the last twelve months.

The Home Office publishes data on Entry clearance visas in the ‘Immigration Statistics Quarterly Release’. Data on granted Visitor visas, by nationality and region of nationality, are published in table Vis_D02 of the ‘Entry clearance visa applications and outcomes detailed datasets’. The latest data relates to Q4 2022 (October to December).

The Home Office publishes data on the percentage of applications of Visitor visas processed within Service Standards in VSI_02 of the Visa and Citizenship Transparency data. The latest data relates to Q3 2021 (July to September).
