Whilst spending continues within existing programmes, the Defence Investment Plan allocates a further £790 million to dedicated homeland Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD).

Command and Control (C2) capabilities are subject to continuous evaluation within the layered UK IAMD system, adapting as threats evolve. This investment focuses on sustaining and enhancing key foundational capabilities by improving our C2 and sensing systems across Defence, ensuring our defences remain effective and resilient against relevant threats.

Further details on specific schedules and capabilities remain classified; however, the MOD is committed to delivering timely and effective solutions to meet current and future operational requirements.
