Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether he has had discussions with his counterpart in Pakistan on free and fair elections in that country in the last six months.

We respect Pakistan's democratic process and do not interfere in its domestic political affairs. We engage regularly with the Government of Pakistan, including on the upholding of democratic norms.
