Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether his Department plans to provide resources for police forces to deploy corrosive substance testing kits for police officers.

The Home Office has commissioned the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory to develop corrosive testing kits for the police in line with the commitment in the Serious Violence Strategy. We will support the roll out of these testing kits once developed.
