Care home residents can nominate up to five visitors, including an ‘essential care giver’, for regular visits into the home. From 21 June, subject to individual risk assessment, care home residents will be able to take part in more activities out of the care home without the need to self-isolate. Residents should still self-isolate following overnight stays in hospital or where an individual risk assessment determines a visit out of the care home is high risk.
