Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps he is taking to ensure that the UK meets its obligations under international law.

International law and promotion of the rule of law are cornerstones of international relations. The UK Government is therefore committed to upholding the UK's international obligations and complying with the law, including international law. The UK is at the forefront of efforts to ensure the effective implementation of and, where appropriate, development of international law.
