Following on from the Energy Bill Relief Scheme, the Energy Bill Discount Scheme (EBDS) will run from April until March 2024, and will continue to provide a discount to eligible non-domestic customers, including businesses in Solihull.

Under the EBDS, non-domestic customers who have a contract with a licensed energy supplier will see a unit discount of up to £6.97/MWh automatically applied to their gas bill and a unit discount of up to £19.61/MWh applied to their electricity bill, except for those benefitting from lower energy prices.

Businesses will also benefit from the additional £6bn the government is investing in energy efficiency to reduce energy consumption in homes and businesses.
