Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps his Department is taking to help improve the (a) accessibility and (b) quality of transport data.

The Department announced and published its first Transport Data Strategy on 28 March 2023. This strategy shows how the Department will work with and support the transport sector to harness the benefits of data to help grow and level up the economy, reduce environmental impacts and improve transport for the user, with the main goal of improving data accessibility and quality.
