Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the hearing of the Defence Committee on 7 July 2026, HC 530, whether he intends to introduce annual reporting to Parliament on the delivery of the Defence Investment Plan against published milestones.

There will be an annual update to Parliament before summer recess each year on progress against the Defence Investment Plan and any changes in financial investments, with the aim to publish the first report by July 2027.
