Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment her Department has made of the presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete in (a) police stations and (b) fire stations in England and Wales and its potential impact on the structural integrity of those facilities.

The Home Office is not responsible for assets belonging to the police and fire services, which would include police station and fire station buildings.

It is the responsibility of individual police and fire and rescue services to manage their estate and ensure it is safe and compliant with the relevant legislation.
