Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many laboratories are contracted to undertake the testing of water quality for Bathing Water designated sites.

All English bathing water samples are analysed by the Environment Agency’s Starcross laboratory.
