Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he is taking steps to develop a career structure for social care staff.
This question was answered on 26th April 2023
On 4 April 2023, the Government published the plan Next Steps to put People at the Heart of Care. In the plan we announced that we will launch a new Care Workforce Pathway for Adult Social Care workers, which will support development and provide a career structure.
