Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether her Department has undertaken recent consultations with local communities near to the (a) Wethersfield (b) Scampton and (c) Bexhill asylum accommodation sites.

The Home Office are engaged with a number of local authorities on sourcing appropriate accommodation for asylum seekers including those announced on 29th March 2023. We are committed to engaging with local authorities and local partners to ensure these sites are delivered successfully.
