Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what upgrades and enhancements to the Typhoon force a) have been delivered and b) are within the scope of the Typhoon Long Term Evolution programme.

The RAF Typhoon fleet has undergone a number of upgrades since entering service. As the backbone of combat air capability, the Defence Investment Plan confirmed the UK’s commitment to continue upgrading Typhoon over the coming decade. This includes a commitment to the Eurofighter Typhoon Long Term Evolution (LTE) programme, a mid-life technology programme that will enable the Typhoon to maintain its operational edge into the 2040s.
