The Government’s 2020 police integrity reforms ensure that members of the public who are unhappy with how their complaint has been dealt with, or with its final outcome, have a right to an independent review - carried out either on behalf of their local Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) or the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

Further information about reviews can be found be found here https://www.policeconduct.gov.uk/complaints-reviews-and-appeals/reviews-and-appeals.
