Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 2 July 2018 to Question 158169 on personal independence payment, what estimate she has made of the average time taken between a submission for an appeal and the resolution of that case; and if she will make a statement.

Statistics on the average length of time for Personal Independence Payment appeals to be cleared are provided in Table T.3 of the quarterly bulletin “Tribunals and gender recognition certificate statistics quarterly – April to June 2018” published by the Ministry of Justice.
