Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he has had with representatives of the NHS on thee Strikes (Minimum Service Level) Bill.

I met with representatives of National Health Service Providers on 10 May 2023 and discussed minimum service levels in the health sector with relation to the Strikes (Minimum Service Level) Bill on behalf of the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. Departmental officials have engaged with officials in NHS organisations in relation to the public consultation on whether to introduce minimum service levels for ambulance services in the event of strike action in England, Wales and Scotland.
