The Government recognises the value of all woodlands, including temperate rainforest. This was demonstrated in 2021, when we published the England Trees Action Plan, which set an agenda up to 2025 that will benefit trees and woodlands of all kinds. Our commitment to delivering this action plan was reemphasised in our new Environmental Improvement Plan.
