Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the Home Office public sector equality duty training numbers 2023, published 15 May 2023, how many of the 3,514 staff trained from December 2019 to March 2023 received their training between (a) 1 December 2019 to 31 August 2022 and (b) 1 September 2022 to 20 March 2023.

I can confirm that of the 3,514 staff who have received their Public Sector Equality Duty training:

a) 2,648 were trained between 1^st December 2019 and 31^st August 2022

b) 835 were trained between 1^st September 2022 and 20^th March 2023.

c) A further 31 staff were trained between 25th November 2019 and 30th November 2019. This falls out of the date range asked within the question but still contributes towards the 3514 total staff who received the training.

An error was included in the initial publication stating the start date of the training as December 2019. The correct date is November 2019 and the publication has been updated to reflect this.
