Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of when the national suspected suicide surveillance system will be rolled out.
The national suspected suicide surveillance system developed by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) in collaboration with local areas and the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) is currently operating in a testing phase. The intention is to complete this phase and move to routinely published reporting by the end of the calendar year.
