Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, if she will take steps to help support people to engage in wild camping in areas designated for the right to roam.

There is no right to wild camp on open access land unless with permission of the landowner. It is a matter for landowners to determine whether wild camping should be permitted such as through the use of permissive agreements.
