Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, how many people were employed by her Department to work on matters relating to equality, diversity and inclusivity in (a) 2021 and (b) 2022.

Like all government departments, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport employs staff to meet our statutory obligations on equality including under the Public Sector Equality Duty. In 2021 the then Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport had four posts working on equality, diversity and inclusivity, and three posts in 2022.
