Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how funding his Department allocated to Solihull Council as part of the Infection Control Fund.
The Infection Control Funds were introduced in May 2020 to support adult social care providers to reduce the rate of COVID-19 transmissions in and between care homes. The following table shows the amounts of funding made available to Solihull Council across all of our Infection Control Funds, which ran until March 2022.

This series of five Infection Control Funds and the Omicron Support Fund meant the adult social care sector had continuous access to over £2.3 billion of specific funding to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
